W związku z tym, że na terenie Gminy Ryczywół nie funkcjonowała spółka gminna, Rada Gminy zauważyła potrzebę utworzenia spółki gminnej celem prowadzenia gospodarki wodno-kanalizacyjnej, która docelowo zajmować ma się również prowadzeniem szeroko pojętej gospodarki komunalnej.
Aktem założycielskim z dnia 30.11.2015 r., powstało Przedsiębiorstwo Komunalne w Ryczywole Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością.
